Horseradish Roast Beef Sandwiches | Kissed by the Sun

Best Cuts for Roast Beef Sandwiches (the way the Deli makes it): Don’t choose just any type of roast beef – select roast beef lean cuts of meat (eye, top or bottom – from the cow’s rump).

Cook time: 15 Minutes 

Serves: 2 

Ingredients for Black Pepper Horseradish Roast Beef Recipe:

-½ pound of deli thin sliced roast beef/ If you order from deli get au jus as this is needed to cook the roast beef.

- 1/2 white cooking onion (optional) 

- 2 kimmelweck rolls

- 1/2 cup sour cream

- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise

- 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish

- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar  

Directions for Black Pepper Horseradish Roast Beef Sandwich Recipe:

1.) Heat the au jus in a saucepan over medium-high heat to a boil and add several dashes of our Black Pepper & Herbs blend. Add the beef and heat through, stirring occasionally. Slice onions and sauté in separate pan for ten minutes or until thoroughly cooked. the sugar in the onions release while cooking so this will ad some sweetness to the dish.  

2.) Meanwhile, add sour cream, mayo, horseradish, apple cider vinegar, & several dashes of our Black Pepper & Herbs in s small bowl and whisk thoroughly. 

3.) Add roast beef to buns, add onions, and top with horseradish cream sauce.
