Creamy Chicken Shiitake Farfalle One Pot Pasta

As we get closer to Fall and rich creamy pasta dishes become a regular dinner occurrence, we wanted to explore some more ways to prepare our favorite starchy supper. 

Enter one pot pasta. 

As opposed to the traditional preparation where vegetables are sautéed and added later to already cooked pasta, one pot pasta brings everything together letting the spices, Farfalle, and veggies harmoniously cook together. Add a little heavy cream and Kissed by the Sun spices and you'll have a silky smooth sauce and just one dish to clean after! Made with our KBS Garlic N Herbs and Black Pepper N Herbs Blends. 


Serves: 3-4


  • 16oz Shiitake mushrooms - sliced.
  • 1 box Farfalle pasta.
  • 10oz spinach.
  • 1/4 cup minced garlic. 
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil.
  • 2 boneless chicken breasts - cubed. 
  • 1 cup heavy cream.
  • 1 white onion, diced. 
  •  4 cups chicken stock. 
  • 2 cups shredded parmesan cheese.
  • KBS Black Pepper N Herbs.
  • KBS Garlic N Herbs.


1.) On medium heat add olive oil in large dutch over or pot then add cubed chicken along with several dashes KBS Black Pepper N Herbs - about 8-12 minutes or until chicken is cooked. 

2.) Remove chicken with a large spoon then sauté onion for 5-6 minutes. Add garlic, mushroom, KBS Garlic N Herbs, and KBs Black Pepper N Herbs and suaté for 3-4 minutes.

3.) Add stock and heavy cream then bring to a boil - then add pasta. When the pasta is al-dente add the spinach and parmesan cheese and stir pot. Top with some extra parmesan and KBS Black Pepper N Herbs then enjoy!
